I have just come off a demo call with Jamie Rose about Yabbr’s voicemail delivery product. It allows businesses to send an audio message straight to a person’s voicemail inbox. The phone rings briefly, appears as a missed call, and the message lands in the right spot, ready to be played back in full.
A few industries immediately come to mind. Real estate, stockbroking, corporate hospitality, and new and used car dealerships.
The standout for me in a very hot property market for rentals and sales is real estate. Instead of spending four hours in the office with an assistant trying to call through a list of 80 people who have shown interest in an upcoming auction or an off market listing, the agent can record a short message and send it directly to voicemail using the Yabbr platform.
Those who are genuinely interested will call back. Those who are not will not. It is an efficient way to sort signal from noise.
The message lands in the voicemail inbox. It may not open with your name, like “Dear James,” but it carries clear impact. It feels deliberate. It does not interrupt a meeting or ring at the wrong time.
And yes, it still comes from a trusted number. These messages are sent to existing clients or known prospective clients, people who have already opted in or made prior contact. It is not spam. It is clarity delivered at scale.
Because in many cases, people do not actually care how bespoke the experience is. They want the outcome. A rental property, a new car, a chance to participate in a stock placement. The voicemail just helps them get there faster.
From SMS to MMS and now Voice, I am learning all the time about the range of capabilities available with an all in one platform like Yabbr, and how different industries can use them to communicate more effectively. Whether it is property, finance, retail, or events, there are ways to reach people that feel efficient , helps businesses scale and still human.
Until next week.
